There are many many ebird reports for this bird in alleghany.2021-10-22 07:14:562022-02-08 10:18:16, 174.99.8.135

18AcceptVesper SparrowGranvilleDeck Stapletondestapleton@embarqmail.comOct. or Nov 198480 acre farm on Jack Clement rd in southern Granville Co. Fairly large sparrow, white eyering stands out, white outer tail feathers visible in flight. Only one record do I have for this property. I was already familier with this species from South Georgia(where I grew up) where I would see them at edges of the big farm fields. When I bought this land in 1984 it was more open and I would think more attractive to Vesper back then. 2011-11-23 21:44:260000-00-00 00:00:00
