General Comments This oriole is a species of the Southwestern states and Mexico, ranging eastward to southern TX. North Carolina has a single record, of an immature male photographed at a feeder in Charlotte (Mecklenburg) on 6 Feb 2015* [Chat 79:108 link], [Chat 80:13 link].
