General Comments
This oriole is a species of the Southwestern states and Mexico, ranging eastward to southern TX. North Carolina has a single record, of an immature male photographed at a feeder in Charlotte (
Mecklenburg
) on 6 Feb 2015* (Chat 79:108), (Chat 80:13). Photos of the bird are available on the Carolina Bird Club Photo Gallery.
